Tsinghua University's web-based distance education helps enterprises establish a self-training system

This paper discusses how the Distance Education Center (DEC) of Tsinghua University (THU) has transformed diploma education to non-diploma education. Based onther ealitiesof China, the DEC has launched a new learning mode to help enterprises establish their own self-training systems.The rationale underlying this mode and the construction of the distance learning course resources, along with the development of the learner support and quality assurance systems, are also explained.
