In the 21st century, distance and open education has changed the concept of traditional education systems in which multimedia interactive education has been playing an increasingly important role.

First, this paper analyses the present characteristics of interactive education and its developmental tendencies, and then makes optimal choices from various multimedia education resources. Second, the data structure of the multimedia education resources has been designed using the SQLSERVER database management system, and a data structure model is given. Finally, by applying the ASP.NET JavaScript computer development languages, and based on a Browser/Server operational model using the three-layered structure of Microsoft .NET -- that is, data layer, logic layer and representation layer -- the paper studies the design, development, realization and application of a multimedia interactive education system.

The research results were used in financial courses education and excellent effects were achieved. This proves that the method and model reported in this paper are practical and have great application and promotional value.
